SOLIX mapping compatibility and SOLIX transducer compatibility are two separate checks. A chart card can be supported while a particular transducer, adapter or network feature is not. Treat the display, software, map edition, transducer and connected accessories as one system.

Humminbird SOLIX displays may work with Humminbird Basemap, LakeMaster freshwater mapping, CoastMaster coastal mapping, compatible Navionics cards and AutoChart Live. Support can vary by card generation, geographic edition and display software, so check the precise card rather than relying on a broad “SOLIX compatible” description.

SOLIX transducer compatibility: start with the sonar goal
Choose the sonar capability first, then identify the compatible transducer. Standard 2D CHIRP, MEGA Down Imaging, MEGA Side Imaging, MEGA 360 and live sonar are different technologies with different hardware and software requirements. A connector that fits does not guarantee access to every view or frequency.

Network compatibility is a third check
Ethernet and NMEA 2000 serve different purposes. Ethernet may share supported sonar, waypoint and accessory data between compatible devices, while NMEA 2000 can carry vessel information from compatible sensors and equipment. Current XPLORE network compatibility includes supported XPLORE, APEX and SOLIX G3 combinations. SOLIX G1 and G2 should not be assumed compatible with an XPLORE network. Confirm before planning a mixed-generation helm.
