SEM Solve is a ready-to-use solvent cleaner for supported bare steel, aluminum, primed and painted surfaces. Limit exposure on plastics, SMC and fiberglass, and do not saturate exposed fibers. It removes documented contamination such as wax, grease, oil and adhesive residue; a precleaner does not repair the substrate or establish that a following coating will adhere without its specified preparation.
Test compatibility and use the current label/SDS for ventilation, protective equipment, ignition control and handling. Apply SEM Solve to the surface or a clean cloth to float contamination, then wipe it off while wet with a clean lint-free cloth in one direction. Change cloths as needed. Do not simply let the contaminated cleaner air-dry; if it dries, rewet and wipe dry. Do not leave a solvent-soaked cloth resting on painted surfaces.
