The Nautica Wavemaker Inflatable Seascooter is a one-rider, motorized surface ride-on designed for supervised recreation in pools or calm water close to shore. Its inflatable body provides a seated riding position, while the handle-mounted trigger and steering unit make operation straightforward: pull the trigger to move, steer with the handle and release the trigger to stop.

The Wavemaker reaches speeds up to 2 mph and provides up to 60 minutes of normal-use runtime. Continuous operation is rated for up to 35 minutes. Its removable rechargeable 12V 2.8Ah lead-acid battery takes approximately 3–4 hours to recharge when fully discharged.

This Recreational Series model is intended for operators age 8 or older. Children must remain under responsible adult supervision, stay within their own depth and wear an approved personal flotation device. The Wavemaker supports one rider weighing no more than 155 lb.

Adult assembly and inflation are required, and an air pump is not included. The Wavemaker is not a boat, towable, navigation device or lifesaving product. Do not use it in the open sea or tow it behind another vehicle.

Inflatable Surface Ride-On

The Wavemaker combines a four-chamber inflatable body with a seated riding position and motorized propulsion. It is designed for surface recreation in a pool or calm water close to shore—not underwater diving, navigation, towing or open-sea travel.

Simple Trigger and Steering Control

Pull the handle-mounted trigger to start propulsion, steer with the steering unit and release the trigger to stop. Its single-speed control avoids complicated gear selection while the rear grille helps prevent direct access to the propeller.

Up to 2 MPH

The propulsion system reaches speeds up to 2 mph, or 3.2 km/h. The model supports one rider up to 155 lb and is intended for operators age 8 or older under the required supervision and safety conditions.

Rechargeable 12V Battery

The removable 12V 2.8Ah lead-acid battery supports up to 60 minutes of normal use or up to 35 minutes of continuous operation. A fully discharged battery takes approximately 3–4 hours to recharge with the supplied charger.

Repair and Storage Support

An inflatable repair kit is supplied for minor inflatable-body repairs. After use, rinse the unit with fresh water, dry it completely, remove and store the battery separately, and deflate and store the product in a cool, dry location.

Why Choose This Seascooter?

Choose the Nautica Wavemaker when you want a seated, inflatable, powered ride-on rather than a conventional handheld underwater seascooter. Its handle steering and pull-trigger operation create a familiar surface-riding experience for supervised pool recreation.

The Wavemaker’s single-speed propulsion reaches up to 2 mph, while its rechargeable battery supplies up to 60 minutes of normal use. The inflatable body can be deflated for storage, and the included repair kit helps address minor inflatable-body damage.

This model is particularly suited to a household looking for a one-rider pool product for an operator age 8 or older. The rider must weigh no more than 155 lb, stay within their own depth and wear an approved PFD. Responsible adult supervision is required for children.

The Wavemaker should not be selected for diving, snorkeling propulsion, open-sea use, strong currents, navigation or towing. Customers wanting a smaller board-style recreational seascooter with multiple speeds should compare it with the Nautica Pool Surfer.
