The Nautica Navigator Seascooter is a single-speed recreational underwater scooter designed for users ages 8 and older with adult supervision. It is intended for supervised pool play, swimming and snorkeling in a pool or calm water close to shore. The official manual specifically states that it must not be used in the open sea.
The Navigator reaches speeds of up to 2.5 mph (4 km/h) and carries a 30 ft (10 m) product depth rating. Its removable 12 V 7.5 Ah sealed lead-acid battery provides up to 60 minutes of normal use or up to 30 minutes of continuous operation. A fully discharged battery normally requires 7–8 hours to recharge.
A safety lock, dual-trigger operation and protective front and rear grilles support controlled operation. Both triggers must be held for propulsion; releasing either trigger stops the propeller. The built-in camera mount can accept a compatible action camera, but the camera and mounting thumbscrew are not included.
Choose the Navigator when supervised users need more speed and a higher product depth rating than the Skipper. Always follow the official manual, use an approved personal flotation device and remain within the user’s swimming ability and water depth.
Up to 2.5 mph with a 30 ft product rating
The Navigator’s single-speed propulsion reaches up to 2.5 mph (4 km/h) and the product carries a 30 ft (10 m) depth rating. These specifications make it the faster, higher-rated option when compared with the Skipper, while all use must remain within the operator’s ability and manual limits.
Clear normal and continuous runtime
The removable lead-acid battery provides up to 60 minutes with normal stop-and-start use. The manual separately specifies up to 30 minutes of continuous use, giving buyers a more accurate basis for planning supervised pool or calm-water sessions.
Dual-trigger operation
Both handle triggers must be held to operate the propeller. Releasing either trigger stops propulsion, while the separate safety lock helps prevent operation when the unit is out of use. Front and rear grilles limit direct access to the propeller area.
Removable NZS06-compatible battery
The 12 V 7.5 Ah sealed lead-acid battery can be removed for charging and storage. Nautica identifies the NZS06 as the original compatible replacement battery for both Navigator and Skipper models, allowing a discharged battery to be replaced with a charged compatible unit.
Integrated action-camera mount
A camera mount is integrated into the Navigator’s body, allowing a compatible action camera to be attached for recording. The camera and mounting thumbscrew are not included, so customers should confirm their camera interface and required mounting hardware separately.
Manageable recreational format
With its battery installed, the Navigator weighs 11.4 lb (5.2 kg) and measures 11.77 × 11.10 × 20.5 inches. Its two-handle format provides a clear grip position, but an adult remains responsible for supervision, battery handling and charging.

The battery is a removable 12 V 7.5 Ah sealed lead-acid battery with a calculated capacity of 90 Wh:
12 V × 7.5 Ah = 90 Wh
FAA provisions for qualifying wet nonspillable batteries require no more than 12 V and 100 Wh, strong packaging for spare batteries, terminal protection, accidental-activation protection, and “nonspillable” markings on the battery and outer package. Confirm that the supplied battery has the required markings and obtain acceptance from the airline before travel. The 90 Wh calculation is not airline approval.
