The Nautica Marine 300 Seascooter is a two-speed underwater propulsion scooter designed for swimming, snorkeling and recreational diving. It reaches speeds of up to 3 mph / 4.8 km/h and carries an equipment depth rating of 100 ft / 30 m, giving qualified users a flexible option for recreational underwater exploration.
Two speed settings let the operator select normal or high speed using the trigger controls described in the US Marine Series manual. The removable 12V 12Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery provides up to 90 minutes of normal or intermittent use. Continuous operation at high speed is rated for up to 30 minutes, and a fully discharged battery normally requires approximately five to seven hours to recharge.
An integrated sports-camera mount can support compatible action-camera systems, although the camera and mounting hardware are not included. Protective propeller grilles, a master switch and trigger-release stopping contribute to controlled operation.
Choose the Marine 300 when two-speed control and an up-to-3-mph top speed matter. It is intended for users age 16 and older and is not a flotation device or a substitute for proper diving qualifications and safety equipment.
Two-Speed Propulsion
Select normal speed with the right trigger or use both triggers for high speed, following the US manual. The Marine 300 reaches up to 3 mph / 4.8 km/h, allowing recreational users to choose between steadier movement and its maximum rated speed.
Normal-Use Runtime up to 90 Minutes
The removable 12V 12Ah lead-acid battery supports up to 90 minutes of normal or intermittent operation. Continuous high-speed operation is rated for up to 30 minutes. Stating both figures gives buyers a more realistic understanding of how speed choice and operating pattern affect use time.
100-Foot Equipment Depth Rating
The Marine 300 carries an equipment depth rating of 100 ft / 30 m for recreational diving use. This rating describes the scooter’s operating limit; it does not establish a safe personal diving depth or replace training, certification and proper dive planning.
Integrated Action-Camera Mount
An integrated mount allows compatible sports cameras to be attached for underwater recording. The manual references GoPro HERO 3 through HERO 7 and compatible mount systems. The camera, housing, thumb screw and other mounting hardware are not documented as included.
Protected Propeller and Buoyancy System
Protective grilles surround the propeller, while the removable buoyancy chamber supports positive buoyancy in seawater when configured for swimming or snorkeling. Freshwater provides less buoyancy, so the scooter may sink in a pool or lake and must be handled accordingly.

Charging and Battery Care
- Remove the battery from the scooter before charging.
- Charge in a ventilated area away from water, children, flames and ignition sources.
- Do not charge in a sealed container or above 104°F / 40°C.
- Connect the battery to the charger before connecting the charger to mains power.
- When charging is complete, disconnect mains power first.
- Allow approximately 30 minutes after charging before installing or using the battery.
- Recharge within 24 hours after use and at least every three months during storage.
- Never store the battery inside the scooter.
Freshwater and Saltwater Care
After every use, rinse the scooter with fresh water and dry it promptly. Do not use detergent; clean surfaces with a damp cloth. Keep the inside of the battery housing dry.
Seals, O-Rings and Buoyancy
Clean and lubricate the seals as directed before use. For swimming and snorkeling, keep the buoyancy chamber empty for positive seawater buoyancy. Freshwater provides less buoyancy, and the unit may sink. Only a qualified diver should adjust it toward neutral buoyancy; never configure it to be negatively buoyant.
Storage
Remove the battery, store the scooter vertically and open the vent plug for extended storage. Keep components dry and protected from excessive heat.
Age and Operating Limits
The product is for users age 16 and older and one operator at a time. It is not a flotation or life-saving device. Do not use it under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and assess weather, currents, hazards and remaining battery before entering the water.
Air Travel with the Battery
The battery is rated 12V × 12Ah = 144Wh. This exceeds the FAA’s standard 100Wh threshold stated for non-spillable batteries in portable electronic devices. Do not describe it as airline approved or pack it for travel without confirming acceptance, packaging and documentation directly with the airline under current rules. See FAA PackSafe battery guidance.
