The Nautica Marine 200 Seascooter is a single-speed underwater scooter designed for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving by operators aged 16 and older. Its removable 12V 7.5Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery provides up to 60 minutes of normal or intermittent use. The official Marine Series manual also lists up to 40 minutes of continuous operation. A fully discharged battery takes approximately 3–4 hours to recharge.
At 13.9 lb (6.3 kg) with the battery, the Marine 200 is lighter to carry than the Marine 250, Marine 280 and Marine 300 models covered by the same manual. It also includes adjustable buoyancy, protective propeller grilles, trigger-release stopping and an integrated action-camera mount. The camera and mounting screw are not included. Choose this model when lower carrying weight, single-speed operation and a shorter charge time matter more than the Marine 250’s higher speed, depth rating and runtime.
Controlled Single-Speed Propulsion
The Marine 200 provides one speed setting with a maximum speed of 2.0 mph (3.2 km/h). Its straightforward trigger operation suits customers who prefer consistent propulsion without switching between modes while swimming, snorkeling or participating in qualified recreational diving.
60-Minute Normal Runtime
The removable battery provides up to 60 minutes of normal or intermittent operation. The official manual separately lists up to 40 minutes of continuous operation, giving customers a more accurate understanding of expected use than a single unrestricted runtime figure.
Shorter 3–4 Hour Recharge
A fully discharged 12V 7.5Ah lead-acid battery takes approximately 3–4 hours to recharge. That is a shorter published charge time than the 5–7 hours listed for the Marine 250, Marine 280 and Marine 300 models in the same official manual.
Lower Carrying Weight
At 13.9 lb (6.3 kg) with the battery installed, the Marine 200 weighs less than the Marine 250, Marine 280 and Marine 300 models covered by the shared manual. This reduces the weight customers must handle while carrying, loading and preparing the unit outside the water.
Adjustable Buoyancy
The buoyancy chamber supports positive buoyancy for swimming and snorkeling and neutral adjustment for qualified diving. Because the Marine 200 is designed for seawater, it has less buoyancy in freshwater, lakes and pools and must be tested before use.
Integrated Camera Mount and Propeller Protection
An integrated mount supports compatible action cameras using the mounting system described in the manual. The camera and mounting screw are not included. Protective propeller grilles, a master switch and trigger-release stopping provide documented operational controls.
The package includes the Marine 200, its battery and charger, and the manufacturer-listed setup and maintenance accessories.
The action-camera mount is integrated into the seascooter. An action camera, camera housing and camera mounting screw are not included. Ballast weights and a carry bag are not listed as package contents.
The Marine 200 uses a 12V 7.5Ah lead-acid battery:
12V × 7.5Ah = 90 Wh
FAA guidance lists a maximum of 12V and 100 Wh for non-spillable wet batteries used in portable electronic devices. It also requires protection against damage and short circuit, strong packaging and “non-spillable” markings on the battery and packaging.
The Marine 200 battery is within the numeric 100 Wh threshold, but that does not make it airline-approved. Confirm the battery’s markings and obtain approval from the airline before travel.
The Nautica Marine 200 Seascooter is the starting performance level among the Marine 200, 250, 280 and 300 models covered by the shared manual. Its single-speed propulsion reaches 2.0 mph, while the smaller 12V 7.5Ah battery helps keep its operating weight at 13.9 lb.
Choose this Marine Series underwater scooter when a 65 ft equipment depth rating, up to 60 minutes of normal use, and a 3–4 hour recharge time fit your intended activity. The most important limitation is performance range. Customers who want higher speed, a deeper equipment rating or longer normal runtime should compare the Marine 250. The Marine 200 also requires proper lead-acid battery charging, ventilation, storage and periodic maintenance.
This model is not intended for children under 16, is not a flotation device and is not a substitute for swimming competence or dive training. Scuba operation is limited to qualified divers, and buoyancy must be tested whenever the water type changes.

We got around 60 minutes of continuous runtime per charge. Dual-trigger safety mechanism works great to prevent accidental starts. Remember to rinse thoroughly with fresh water and lubricate the O-rings after every dive.
