Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash and Wax G17748 combines routine automotive paint washing with a maintenance wax contribution. This listing supplies one 1.4-liter container, identified by Mariners Warehouse SKU 71844. Choose it for a wash stage that also supports gloss between regular waxing sessions, using the delivered label and your vehicle finish’s care requirements.
The manufacturer identifies carnauba wax and synthetic polymers, clear-coat compatibility and a pH-neutral formula intended to clean without stripping existing wax. These features suit maintenance washing; they do not establish scratch correction, oxidation removal or a fixed protection interval. The product is a rinse-off wash rather than a waterless spray detailer.
Check the actual paint, existing coating and any restrictions before use, particularly on wraps, matte finishes or specialized RV surfaces. Obtain the current G17748 container’s measured dilution and wash sequence before mixing; a ratio from Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax or another Meguiar’s formula does not apply automatically. Use clean, compatible wash tools and a separate drying towel, and assess remaining defects after washing before choosing a restoration step.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does SKU 71844 include?
One 1.4-liter container of Ultimate Wash & Wax, manufacturer code G17748. Tools and towels are separate.
Is G17748 a wash or a separate wax?
It is a wash-and-wax for automotive paint maintenance between regular waxings, with a carnauba-and-polymer contribution.
Does it replace all regular waxing?
No. Manufacturer positioning is maintenance between regular waxings; no universal replacement interval is established.
Which surfaces are supported?
Manufacturer guidance centers on compatible automotive paint and clear coat. Check the actual coating; RV or marine catalog placement does not approve every finish.
What dilution ratio should I use?
Use the current G17748 bottle’s dilution and wash directions; do not substitute another formula’s mixing ratio.
Is it a waterless spray cleaner?
No. It is a wash product that requires its own washing and removal sequence.
Are a wash mitt and drying towel included?
No. This listing supplies the single wash container; accessories are separate.
Why does the manufacturer say 48 oz?
The US manufacturer page identifies G17748 as 48 oz; the supplied store listing designates the pack 1.4 liters. Retain the exact code and selected pack identity.
