Collinite 885 Heavy Duty Fleetwax Paste provides protective gloss for properly prepared marine finishes. Mariners Warehouse SKU 97849 supplies one 12 oz paste container. Select it as a finishing wax after washing and any required restoration, with separate compatible applicators and towels.

No. 885 contains no cleaners. Suitable contaminant-free fiberglass, gelcoat and clear-coated finishes can receive its protective coat once their actual care requirements are confirmed. Oxidation, stains and other defects need separate assessment before waxing. Keep it off rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass and non-painted plastic.

Test an inconspicuous area and follow the delivered No. 885 container for the thin-coat technique, permitted hand or machine process and removal stage. Use manageable working sections and clean removal material. The paste format and its exact instructions govern the process; select the quantity by planned use and storage, with maintenance intervals based on real exposure.

    1. Identify Pure 885 Paste

No cleaners are included in its protective role.

    2. Prepare the Finish

      Clean and restore defects separately.

    3. Check Material Exclusions

Exclude rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass and non-painted plastic.

    4. Test the Approved Finish

      Confirm actual coating compatibility.

Collinite 885 Heavy Duty Fleetwax Paste Selection

885 supplies pure marine protective wax in paste form. No. 925 is its liquid counterpart, while 870 combines light cleaning with protection. Choose the product by finish condition and the care stage before comparing package size.

The paste and liquid products have their own working and removal methods. Select suitable separate tools, prepare contamination and defects appropriately, and follow the exact delivered label. A larger quantity or a different format does not guarantee a longer service interval. Review the Collinite 925 Fiberglass Marine Wax - 16oz MPN - 925 as a separately sold option.
