Collinite 435 Black Streak Remover is currently presented by the manufacturer as Streak Fixer, a black streak remover and protector. Mariners Warehouse SKU 99520 supplies one 16 oz container for localized maintenance of suitable fiberglass, metal and painted surfaces.

The formula lifts deposited marks and adds a fast-bonding polymer protective contribution while preserving existing Collinite marine wax under directions. It suits small-area cleanup between larger care sessions. It is not designed for oxidation removal, aged gelcoat restoration, glass or upholstery, and heavily soiled surfaces need prewashing.

Test an inconspicuous area and follow the exact bottle’s application and towel-removal method. Work localized sections within the manufacturer’s 3 × 3 foot area limit. Keep clean, suitable towels available; if the finish remains chalky or faded after soil removal, assess a separate restoration step before adding more product.

Plan Your Collinite 435 Black Streak Remover Use

Match the exact product, application and delivered directions before starting.

    1. Match No. 435

Confirm the 16 oz Black Streak Remover/Streak Fixer identity.

    2. Assess the Care Task

Use a different suitable process for oxidation or heavily soiled surfaces.

    3. Exclude Glass and Upholstery

Protect materials outside the product’s approval.

    4. Test a Hidden Area

Check finish response before broader treatment.

    5. Follow Small-Area Bottle Directions

Confirm amount, work area and removal; no invented cure time.

    6. Maintain Existing Protection

Follow exact care instructions without promising a fixed protective life.

    Streak Maintenance or Fiberglass Restoration?

No. 435 Streak Fixer is a localized cleaner and protector for deposited marks and fresh water spots. No. 920 is a pre-wax fiberglass cleaner with cutting action for mild to moderate oxidation and related defects. The care tasks are distinct.

Choose No. 435 when the finish needs suitable small-area maintenance. Choose a finish-appropriate restoration process when chalkiness or oxidation is the issue, then select the required separate protection. Neither product’s working method should be borrowed for the other. Review the Collinite 920 Fiberglass Marine Cleaner - 64oz MPN - 920-64OZ as a separately sold option.
