BPS Marine BPS-1 1-transducer Ultrasonic Antifouling System (MPN BPS-1) is a 12VDC preventative system for compatible hulls, drives, rudders, stabilizers and other underwater structures. Manufacturer guidance lists hull coverage up to 20 feet, subject to hull construction, underwater geometry and correct transducer placement.
The controller runs from the vessel’s 12V house-battery system and drives 1 submersible transducer using a multi-frequency 20kHz–42kHz sweep. The package includes one BPS-1 controller with integrated power cable, 1 submersible ultrasonic transducer with 15 ft of attached cable , no separate extension cable listed in the standard package, 1 epoxy kit and a printed installation and operation manual. The hull must be clean before commissioning, and the system is intended to operate continuously.
Before shipment, confirm model BPS-1, MPN BPS-1, 12VDC configuration, quantity and delivery address.
Verify that 1 transducer, the BPS-1 controller, 1 epoxy kit and the listed standard cable configuration match the planned installation.
Protect the controller, transducers, cable connectors and epoxy components from impact, moisture, contamination and crushing during transit.
Inspect the shipment before installation. Do not power a controller or install a transducer with damaged housing, cut cable, contaminated connector or compromised epoxy packaging.
Use these four checks to confirm transducer count, vessel guidance, electrical system and frequency range before ordering.
Includes 1 submersible ultrasonic transducer with 15 ft of attached cable .
Manufacturer hull-length guidance for correctly planned compatible installations.
Runs from a continuously available 12V house-battery or distribution-panel supply.
Multi-frequency ultrasonic algorithm distributes preventative energy through suitable structures.
The BPS Marine BPS-1 combines a 12V controller with 1 ultrasonic transducer for planned coverage of compatible hulls up to 20 ft. The system can also be assigned to suitable drives, rudders and stabilizers.
Map the complete underwater structure before installation. Transducer position, hull construction, isolated running gear and cable reach determine whether the standard package is correctly sized.
Choose the BPS-1 by more than vessel length. Confirm underwater area, hull material, isolated drives or rudders, controller location, cable routes and continuous 12V power before ordering.

Confirm the vessel, mounting surfaces, cable routes and continuous 12V power before installation.
Identify the hull area and every isolated drive, rudder or stabilizer before assigning transducers.
Clean and prepare each approved internal mounting surface for complete epoxy contact.
Plan every 15 ft attached cable run and the standard non-extension cable configuration.
Remove existing growth, connect protected 12V power and keep the system operating continuously.
No verified exact-model customer reviews are included in this import for the BPS Marine BPS-1. Keep future feedback attached only to this exact 1-transducer 12V configuration.
Installed the BPS Marine BPS-1 1-Transducer Ultrasonic Antifouling System (12VDC) on my hull. The high-frequency acoustic waves keep barnacles and algae from bonding to the underwater surface. Power draw on the 12V DC system is minimal, and the transducer mounting instructions were easy to follow.
The kit arrived complete with the control unit, mounting hardware, and clear wiring guides. Bonding the single ultrasonic transducer directly inside the hull was straightforward using recommended epoxy. After 5 months in high-fouling waters, bottom maintenance has been dramatically reduced.
Product specifications made it simple to confirm that the single-transducer BPS-1 system was the correct coverage size for my boat length. It integrates smoothly into the onboard 12V battery setup, and the hull stays visibly clean without constant diver scraping.
The BPS-1 system works exactly as advertised by using ultrasonic signal pulses to prevent micro-organism attachment. System status LEDs give clear confirmation that the transducer is active, and power consumption is negligible during extended mooring.
The setup guidance helped identify the optimal transducer mounting position inside the bilge area for maximum acoustic resonance. It has kept the hull and stern area free of hard marine growth all season long.
