Riptide PowerDrive Micro Remote

The Advanced GPS Micro Remote is designed for quick command without a screen or menu-heavy interface. Its compact format is easy to keep on a lanyard, clip or accessible station when you mainly want to point the motor, adjust speed and engage key positioning functions.

The Micro Remote does not have an LCD screen. When Spot-Lock is engaged from the Micro Remote, a fuller interface may be needed to save that position. Some setup, calibration and advanced navigation choices are handled through the One-Boat Network App, a compatible full-size remote or connected compatible equipment. The full-size Wireless Remote is powered by two AA batteries. Minn Kota lists a 30-foot operating range in suitable conditions and allows an Advanced GPS controller to pair with up to three compatible remotes in total. Available menu options can vary with the trolling motor and connected One-Boat Network equipment, so the presence of a programmable button does not mean every possible ecosystem function is available on Riptide PowerDrive.

1. Current full-size Wireless Remote compatibility is generation-specific

The current Advanced GPS full-size Wireless Remote is designed for Advanced GPS Navigation controllers from the current generation and is not the same as legacy i-Pilot or i-Pilot Link remotes. If you are buying a replacement instead of a complete current motor package, identify the motor year, controller generation and remote part number before ordering.

2. Advanced GPS Riptide PowerDrive does not use a foot pedal

Current Riptide PowerDrive Advanced GPS specifications state that a foot pedal is not compatible. If hands-free pedal steering is essential, this remote-package decision will not solve that requirement; compare a different trolling-motor configuration.
